About Our Children's Department

The Lexington branch prides itself on providing exceptional customer service—extending to children as well! Kids light up when they see our ocean-themed children’s department where we offer toys, puzzles, and coloring pages. Join us for family and baby story time, and check out all of our literacy-focused programs for kids. We’re particularly excited to offer kindergarten readiness programs and Sit! Stay! Read!, which provides the opportunity for kids who are in kindergarten through 5th grade to read to a therapy dog. Reach out to Miss Adena if you and your child need help to navigate our shelves. We can also put together teacher packs and family book bundles!

We love to recommend books for you too! See our current “must read” list here.
