Adult Reference Associate, Part-Time-Main Library

POSITION SUMMARY:  Under the supervision of the Adult Services Coordinator, the Adult Reference Associate is responsible for providing and promoting library resources and services to persons of all ages, with a focus on Adult and Reference Services, and performs a variety of duties including assisting in collection maintenance and programming for adults. POSITION SUMMARY:  Under the supervision of the Adult Services Coordinator, the Adult Reference Librarian is responsible for providing and promoting library resources and services to persons of all ages, with a focus on adults, taking a lead role in a variety of duties including recommending and implementing new and innovative services and resources, leading collection development, and planning and implementing general and specialized programming for adults. Read more here

Clerk III, Part-Time-Ontario Branch

POSITION SUMMARY:  Under direct supervision of the Branch Manager, the Branch Clerk performs a variety of tasks according to specific needs and established procedures including assisting customers, checking items in and out, working in the library’s circulation system to update records, processing and shelving materials, providing basic reader’s advisory and reference services, and keeping the shelves clean and organized. POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the Regional Branch Services Coordinator, the Branch Manager is responsible for all operations at the Branch and represents the library in community activities and events. Read more here

POSITION SUMMARY:  Under direct supervision of the Acquisitions Manager, the Acquisitions Clerk performs a variety of tasks related to the acquisition and processing of materials according to the specific needs and established procedures of the department including preparing and transmitting orders, receiving new materials, processing new materials, distributing new materials to the appropriate locations, and preparing discarded materials for distribution to other vendors or locations. Read more here
