MRCPL looks for people who are passionate about the mission of our library and eager to serve our customers and the community.
Our Circulation Clerks at the Main Library love greeting customers and connecting them with the materials and services they need. We are looking for someone who is outgoing and friendly, who can actively listen to customers and help them check out their items in a quick and efficient manner. You will spend most of your day checking materials in and out, answering phones and directing calls, issuing and updating library cards and promoting library services and programs to customers. Our Learning Lab Specialists love helping our customers use and enjoy technology – from computers and 3-D printers to smartphones and tablets. Whether working with customers individually or in group settings, our Learning Lab Specialists help customers with online job searching, resume building, basic and advanced computer skills, printing projects and everything in between. We’re looking for someone with excellent computer skills, patience, and the ability to communicate complex information in understandable terms. Read more here.
