We are looking for a creative and innovative individual with strong leadership skills and a high level of computer literacy to lead and further develop our Learning & Creation Lab as the Learning & Creation Lab Manager. This person should have the ability to instruct adults, provide great leadership to the Learning & Creation Lab employees, and proactively expand the resources in our new Creation Lab. Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of leadership, creativity, initiative, and a future-focus. They demonstrate strong attention to detail, and strong communication skills. This person also enjoys interacting with the public and seeks to engage with library users in addition to seeking out and implementing services, policies, and procedures that provide a great customer experience for our customers. Our Branch Clerks love helping library customers and are excellent multitaskers, able to shift focus between many tasks throughout the day. Branch Clerks need strong customer service skills, sound judgment, common sense, and creative problem-solving skills. We are looking for a strong communicator with good computer skills. You will spend the day managing the flow of materials in and out of the library building and meeting a wide variety of customer needs. Are you a librarian who is interested in management? We are looking for a Branch Manager, someone who can provide both great leadership as a manager and excellent service and outreach to the community. Branch Managers must also be strong communicators and enjoy public speaking and presenting programs. They should have the ability to multitask, use sound judgment and common sense, and be able to creatively problem-solve in order to be a strong leader of the Branch team and an excellent representative of the library to the community. Our Learning Lab Specialists love helping our customers use and enjoy technology – from computers and 3-D printers to smartphones and tablets. Whether working with customers individually or in group settings, our Learning Lab Specialists help customers with online job searching, resume building, basic and advanced computer skills, printing projects and everything in between. Are you a librarian who enjoys interacting with children and teens? We are looking for an energetic, team-oriented Branch Youth Services Librarian to provide relevant, interactive programming at our Branch Library. The Branch Youth Services Librarian should have a strong commitment to public service as well as a passion for sharing the library with children, teens and families. The ideal candidate will be creative, flexible and have a strong understanding of child and teen development and interests in order to provide appropriate and appealing services and build strong community relationships.
