Prevent Type 2 Diabetes

American Heart Association: Living Healthy with Diabetes – Adopting a healthy lifestyle can help you manage your diabetes. It may also improve your critical health numbers, including weight, blood sugar, blood pressure, and blood cholesterol.

EBSCO (AHFS Consumer Medication, Alt. Health Watch, Medline, HealthSource, Nursing/Academic Edition) – This resource allows users to search several databases simultaneously—including Medline, Alt. Health Watch, AHFS Consumer Medication, HealthSource, and Nursing/Academic Edition.

Health and Wellness Resource – Offers access to full-text medical journals, magazines, reference works, multimedia, and much more. This consumer health resource provides information on the full range of health-related issues, from current disease and disorder information to in-depth coverage of alternative medical practices.
