The Board meets at 4 PM in the Board Room on the third floor of the Main Library (43 West Third Street, Mansfield), on the third Tuesday in January, February, March, April, May, June, August, October, November, and December. (Regular meetings are not held in July and September. Additional committee meetings will be scheduled on an as-needed basis.

These meetings are open to the public.

Board Meeting Policies

Any person wishing to appear before the Board or a Board Committee must contact the Library Director, Chris May cmay@mrcpl.org, or Deputy Fiscal Officer, Mary Dwyer mdwyer@mrcpl.org, prior to the meeting, and shall further provide the following written information:
- Name, address, and phone number of the person requesting to speak.
- The subject or issue on which he/she wishes to speak.
During official Board meetings, a person who wishes to address the Board concerning a given item on the agenda will be allotted time not to exceed five (5) minutes. At the discretion of the President, the number of speakers may be limited to three (3) in opposition and three (3) in favor of the given agenda item.
During committee meetings, a person who wishes to address the committee concerning an issue will be allotted time not to exceed five (5) minutes. At the discretion of the chairperson, the number of speakers may be limited to three (3) in opposition and three (3) in favor of the issue.
