MRCPL looks for people who are passionate about the mission of our library and eager to serve our customers and the community.
Our Media Services Clerks love helping library customers and are excellent multitaskers, able to shift focus between many tasks throughout the day. Media Services Clerks need to be skilled in customer service, creative problem-solving, time management, and should have sound judgment. We are looking for a strong communicator who is eager to connect with customers, helping them take advantage of the wide range of items available in the Media Department. This person will spend the day managing the flow of materials in and out of the department, meeting a wide variety of customer needs, and doing a few specialized tasks and projects that keep the collection looking great and easy to use.
