MRCPL looks for people who are passionate about the mission of our library and eager to serve our customers and the community.

Our Media Services Clerks love helping library customers and are excellent multitaskers, able to shift focus between many tasks throughout the day.  Media Services Clerks need to be skilled in customer service, creative problem-solving, time management, and should have sound judgment.  We are looking for a strong communicator who is eager to connect with customers, helping them take advantage of the wide range of items available in the Media Department. This person will spend the day managing the flow of materials in and out of the department, meeting a wide variety of customer needs, and doing a few specialized tasks and projects that keep the collection looking great and easy to use. Our Branch Clerks love helping library customers and are excellent multitaskers, able to shift focus between many tasks throughout the day.  Branch Clerks need strong customer service skills, sound judgment, common sense, and creative problem-solving skills.  We are looking for a strong communicator with good computer skills.  You will spend the day managing the flow of materials in and out of the library building and meeting a wide variety of customer needs. Our Community Resource Specialists at First Call 211 enjoy thinking outside the box to connect customers to community resources and programs.  They are non-judgemental, organized and have strong computer skills, able to bounce between electronic databases and paper manuals while on the phone with callers. We are looking for empathetic and active listeners who enjoy working with a wide variety of people and can problem-solve in the moment while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.  Read more here.
