"Votes for Women" Poster Exhibit

In recognition of Women’s History Month, “Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence” will be displayed at the Main Library Mar. 4-22. This poster exhibit celebrates the 19th Amendment, which prohibits the government from denying U.S. citizens the right to vote based on sex. It explores the complexity of the women’s suffrage movement and the relevance of this history to Americans’ lives today.
