Little Pim (Mango Languages for Children)

Little Pim (brought to you by Mango Languages) is an award-winning program designed specifically to introduce new languages to young children.  The series is available in ten foreign languages (Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Hebrew, English/ESL (with Spanish or English subtitles), German, Russian and Arabic). The children's language program "stars" a lovable animated panda and features native speakers, excellent pacing, activities and concept groupings to make the language learning process fun and easy.

Ohio BMV Practice Tests

Mansfield/Richland County Public Library announces a partnership with Driving-Tests.org, a company dedicated to driver safety and education, to offer free Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) practice tests to library patrons. The service includes free tests specifically based on the state’s BMV materials. It is the only site of its kind to include accessibility tools that let users hear selections read aloud, make them into MP3s, translate pages into other languages, magnify text, and mask portions of the screen for greater visibility on the practice tests. The program will work as an outreach to several valued groups of patrons, including teens, those with disabilities, and seniors who need to take a renewal exam, as well as patrons at every other stage of life.
