  • Gale in Context: Elementary - With features that are age-appropriate, reliable, and perfect for young learners, this curriculum-related content covers a broad range of educational topics. This resource helps kids explore and gain comfort with database searching.

  • Little Pim (Mango Languages for Children) - An award-winning program designed specifically to introduce new languages to young children. The series is available in ten foreign languages (Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Hebrew, English/ESL (with Spanish or English subtitles), German, Russian and Arabic). 

  • Novelist K-8 Plus - For grades K to 8.  Using simple search techniques, find helpful resources such as expert reading recommendations, read-alikes, book discussion guides, thematic book lists and more.

  • What Tree Is It? - This resource will help to identify Ohio trees by leaf, fruit, or by name. 

  • What’s That Snake? - Use this resource to identify Ohio snakes based on characteristics or by name.  This resource also helps to dispel many snake related myths.

  • World Almanac For Kids - A one-stop reference resource for intermediate-level students. Kids can explore age-appropriate subjects while developing online research skills with a trusted source.

  • World Book Early World of Learning - Offers an interactive learning environment for children in preschool and early elementary grades, which includes resources to help them grasp critical early childhood themes while developing reading and oral language skills.

  • World Book Kids - Features content and tools developed especially for young students. The site offers simple navigation, easy-to-read articles, multimedia, comparison tools, interactive games and activities, and teacher resources.

  • World Book Students - Contains an extensive multimedia collection, including editor-selected websites, and correlations to state standards.

  • World Book Timelines - Build and share timelines. Use your own events and images or add content and images from World Book.
