Children’s Book Review: Teeny Tiny Farmer

Teeny Tiny Farmer by Rachel Matson
From Miss Rachel at Butler and Lucas Branches

The Teeny Tiny Farmer board book is about a young girl that is trying to get her fruits and veggies to the market. Colorful with fun illustrations, the book rhymes and carries the story to the end. I like that the book has a female farmer instead of the traditional male farmer. It helps girls see that they too can be farmers

The book teaches young children the power of helping one another. It is a cute little lesson and will be enjoyed by toddlers to preschoolers.

Board books are great for younger children, because they can learn how to hold a book and learn that books are fun. Board books are great for little hands because they are thick and the pages cannot be ripped.

Rachel Matson is the author of a few other board books. They can be found below by clicking on the links below. Enjoy!
