In The End - Music Review

The Cranberries formed in Limerick, Ireland 30 years ago, and were initially known as “The Cranberry Saw Us”.

This album consists of 11 tracks and was released in April of this year.  Many of you may recall that the lead singer, Delores O’Riorden passed away in January of 2018.  You may wonder, are these songs from previous albums?  Actually no.  They were created in the year or so prior to her passing, so they are new.

But they were not what would be called “finished”.  The band would have worked on the album to improve the sound, the singing, and in listening to it you can sense this situation and wish you could hear what they would have created in their final effort.

Even so, it was an enjoyable listen and has received great reviews.

It is the last recording the Cranberries will produce.  It was a tribute to Delores.
