April 11th is National Pet Day so let's celebrate our favorite furry critters. Dogs, cats, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, fish, hamsters...the list of pets goes on and on. National Pet Day was founded in 2006 by Colleen Paige, a Pet and Home Lifestyle Expert. She wants to "celebrate the joy pets bring to our lives and to create public awareness about the plight of many different kinds of animals awaiting a forever home in shelters and rescues all around the globe" per petdayusa.com.
