With so many great superhero stories, why not do a Superhero Story Time!

How to Be a Superhero by Sue Fliess follows a young boy who wants to learn how to be a superhero. "You can be one if you're smart and you try with all your heart."  It is a cute, simple story where a boy becomes a superhero! Harriet Ziefert's Mighty Max is a story about a boy named Max who "wants to climb, jump, fly and be the hero who saves the day."  Max's dad "wants him to calm down and be helpful."  Join them both during a day at the beach.  The drawings by Elliot Kreloff are "vibrant crayon illustrations" which bring Max to life.  Superworm by Julia Donaldson, gives us a new superhero who wiggles to the rescue.  In Alison Brown's superhero tale, Mighty Mo, Mo wants to do something amazing but everything he tries turns into a disaster.  He finds out about a stolen statue and "its up to Mo to save the day."   I couldn't resist The Day I Lost My Superpowers by Michael Escoffier.  This book follows a young girl as she discovers her superpowers.  What does she do when her powers and find out!
