Game Night is a mystery/crime film with a hint of comedy.  Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams star as Max and Annie, whose weekly game night turns into quite the adventure that they had not bargained for.  Max’s competitive brother Brooks, (played by Kyle Chandler) plans a murder mystery party to kick “Game Night” up a notch one evening because he feels Max and Annie’s game nights are too simple and boring, and they need some more adventure and spice. So, the murder mystery party at Brooks exquisite rental property is set up and ready to kick off with actors pretending to be fake thugs with fake guns and even a fake federal agent pretending to be ready for a dangerous kidnapping that will take place with one of the players of the game, and the winner of the mystery will win quite the prize. The exciting part is no one knows who it will be out of all the couples that are there for the mystery party. Expectantly though, the game that Brooks  raves to all of them about spirals into a night with non-stop laughs and lots of twists and turns that will keep you intrigued but on the edge of your seat as well.  This is a movie that you have to pay attention to and follow the storyline because it throws you some mystery details that you will have to follow all the way through until the end. It will be up to you to solve the real murder mystery, and try and guess if “Game Night” is real or is it really FAKE?? Overall Rating: B
