My name is Reed, and I live right here in Mansfield. Unlike my friends and siblings who love to sleep all day, I prefer exploring, playing, and reading during the daytime. It can get a little lonely wandering around alone all day. But one morning, I followed the B&O Bike Trail looking for adventure, and that’s when I discovered the Library.

I peeked through the windows and saw people laughing, making crafts, and studying together—all in the daytime! That first day, I was too shy to go inside. Soon, though, I just couldn’t resist seeing what the library was all about. Right away, I felt at home with the friendly staff, and there were so many things to learn and do.

Now, I’m the busiest raccoon in Richland County! As an official staff member, I recommend books I’ve read, create things at the programs, and explore something new all the time. Sometimes, I ride along on the Bookmobile to deliver books around the community. All of the libraries are different, so you should check them out sometime. Come on in… I think you’ll find you belong here, too.
