The Storybook Trail is a partnership with the Mansfield Richland County Public Library and was funded by the Keyser Library Fund and the George and Barbara Keyser Donor Advised Fund of Richland County Foundation.
The Storybook Trail is open during garden hours, 10 am to 7 pm, and is located along the Nature Trail that begins at the Peacock Playhouse.
The spring 2021 book is titled The Thing About Spring, written by best-selling Library Mouse author Daniel Kirk, follows Bear, Bird, and Mouse who have waited for spring to come. Their friend Rabbit loves winter and does not share their excitement about the changing of the seasons. Rabbit learns from his friends the many things there are to love about spring.
