The Friends of the Mansfield/Richland County Public Library
Who are the Friends of the Library (FOL)?
Anyone who cares about and wants to support the Library.
What do we do?
The Friends are a support group for the Library. We provide financial assistance by supplementing the library's income in the purchase of specific equipment and materials for library use. Friends provide volunteer assistance for special events including the annual Summer Library Program, legislative events and special projects.
Annual Public Meeting
Every year, the FOL hold an annual meeting that is open to the public. The meeting is really more of a special program sponsored by the FOL; it usually features an author or local personality who would be of interest to the community. Everyone is invited to attend.
Book sales are the primary fundraiser for the FOL. Sales are held every month at the Friends' Evergreen Bookshop located at 33 N. Walnut Street (corner of 3rd and Walnut Streets).
First Thursday of each month, 3-7 PM, Members only.
