The Spider's Web

The spider’s web calls you
To come and meet your fate.
The spider’s web is a portal
To the Underworld’s gate.
Come and make a contract
For revenge on those you hate.
A stoic demon with golden eyes
Will be your eternal mate.
The spider laughs.
“Make your wish.”
His tone is dark and eerie.
With just one word, he’ll have your soul,
Black as a cemetery.
As the web begins to close,
The spider seizes his prey.
With the demon’s name upon your lips,
You can never get away.
Seeking your revenge,
You sold your soul away.
Now you’ll stay the spider’s captive
For all the rest of your days.
