The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien

The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien is a wonderful adventurous thriller about a hobbit named Bilbo who jumps at the chance to get rich. Bilbo is a hobbit from the shire.  Hobbits despise adventure, but when thirteen dwarves came to Bilbo’s doorstep with the telling of riches hidden beneath a dragon in their used-to-be kingdom, Bilbo went with them. On his journey to the Kingdom overrun by a dragon, Bilbo and his crew are stopped by many side-quests like being captured by dwarfs, which is how the ring came into Bilbo’s possession.  But that’s a whole other story now.  Read the book and its related series, The Lord of the Rings. This book is advised for people of the age of twelve and up due to adventure qualities too awesome for little ones.
