One Whole and Perfect Day by Judith Clarke
Everyone thinks their family is crazy. But Lily Samson is sure her family is craziest. Her mother works too much, her lazy brother and stubborn Pop are always arguing and her Grandmother has imaginary friends. Not to mention Lily has to take care of all the housework. Alone. She hates being the sensible one in the family. So Lily decides she needs to fall in love. Meanwhile, Pop's 80th birthday is coming up, and Lily's grandmother knows just what this family needs. One Whole and Perfect Day.
If you like adorable, pleasantly pleasant, fun books-that-make-you-smile, and have happy endings, I highly suggest this book. Not to mention no one dies! (always a plus)
