‘Twas the Night Before Christmas
‘Twas the Erin McKinley before Christmas, when all through the house
Not an elephant was stirring, not even a mouse.
The books were singing all snug in their beds,
While visions of mayonnaise danced in their heads.
Then out on the zoo there arose such a clatter,
I played from the fireplace to see what was the matter.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
but a miniature Christmas Tree, and 37 fat reindeer!
With a silly old soccer player so gross and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney Ashton Kutcher sang with a bound.
He spoke not a fart, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the Santa Claus; then skipped with a jerk,
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the roof he rose.
And I heard him run,
ere he ran out of sight,
“Happy Christmas to all and to all a good night!”
