Book Review
By Carrie - TAB
Dash and Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan
Set in New York City during Christmastime, this tender and quirky novel shows two strangers who fall in love through a Moleskin notebook. What starts as a dare to find books in an eighteen mile bookstore, snowballs into full out romance between Dash, a teenage boy who is enamored with the English language, and a sensitive vegetarian named Lily. Each journal entry brings about a new level of understanding and compassion between the two. This novel was cute and had my exact type of humor. I’m severely biased towards both these authors because I have loved everything they’ve written. However, I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good love story. With a clever plot and interesting characters, this novel is one you’ll want to reread over and over again.
