Girl in the Arena by Lise Haines

Lyn lives in a world where the biggest entertainment is watching the death match of gladiators. Unfortunately every one of her seven fathers has been a victim. Even worse than that is her seventh father's killer accidentally got a hold of Lyn's dowry bracelet. Now Lyn hasn't got much of a choice besides marrying him.

I really liked this book. It was simultaneously fascinating and disturbing to imagine a place where it's a sport to watch people die in an arena. I would recommend it to anyone who liked The Hunger Games. I hope you enjoy it!
