The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien

A hobbit by the name of Bilbo Baggins is an ordinary hobbit. He is approached by Gandalf, the powerful and wise wizard, to go on a quest; a quest along with thirteen other dwarves, to travel to the Lonely Mountain to kill the dragon, take control of the castle, and find the treasure within the walls of the castle. On the adventure to the mountain, Bilbo overcomes many obstacles. These include running into trolls, goblins, wolves, elves, and a mysterious creature by the name of Gollum. The key to Bilbo’s success is a golden ring he has found on his journey. There is a lot of adventure and issues to be solved. If you enjoy adventure stories, then this is the book for you. If you enjoy reading The Hobbit, then you will like The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
