Book Review

Unwind by Neal Shusterman
I picked up this book not expecting much from it. But from page one, I was hooked. It's about a world not too different from the one we live in now. The biggest difference is that from the time you are thirteen until eighteen you could be unwound. This is where others would harvest everything from your body that could be transplanted to another. The story follows three teens and their attempt to stay whole. Connor is a troublemaker whose parent can't deal with him anymore. Risa is an orphan that the state can't pay for anymore. Lev is a tithe or someone that willingly gets unwound for religious reasons. This book is a rollercoaster of events and emotions. It's an amazing book that gives you chills. So go pick up a copy of Unwind and remember to stay whole.
