Connect with Local History and Genealogy
Sherman Room Resources
How does someone go about looking up information on his or her
family history? Such questions propel people to visit the Sherman
Room at the Main Library. If you know
nothing about researching your family history, how do you begin?
Come to the Sherman Room and meet with either Boyd Addlesperger
or Laurel Tope.
The John Sherman Room houses the Library's collection of genealogical
materials as well as local and Ohio history materials. The following
is a partial listing of what you will find in the Sherman Room.
Call the Sherman Room at (419) 521-3115 with your genealogy questions.
