Programs for Children
Fall Story Times start the week of September 14th!
Toddler Story Time Tuesday's at 11:00am
Children 2-3 years and their caregivers will enjoy this lively program of songs, rhymes, movement, imaginative activities and book sharing time. This program introduces children to the literature and rhymes of early childhood and encourages group participation.
Preschool and Kindergarten Story Times Tuesday's at 1:00pm
A special story time for the "big kids", ages 4 and 5, who are ready to participate in group activities on their own. Story times offer books, music and movement activities to encourage children to become lifelong readers. (Parents/caregivers must remain in the library building during these programs.)
Baby Story Time's Wednesday's at 10:30am
Children from 6 to 24 months and their caregivers participate in these programs of rhymes, songs, lap games, stories, music, interactive activities and book sharing time. These programs help develop language skills and is a great way to meet other new parents.

Presenter Twila Johnson will show and talk about eight different quilt patterns that were actually coded messages used by slaves to find their way to freedom during the Civil War.
Crafting in Miniature with Polymer Clay
Thursday October 29th, 6 PM
Space is limited, sign up is necessary. Make miniature pies that will look good enough to eat!
