Storytime at the Lucas Branch Library will resume on September 17 and will now start at 10:30 AM.

We'll make our own stick pony, square dance, and share some horse-y stories. Afterwards, families should join us behind the library for "music on the green" for a performance by singer/guitarist (and horse lover!) Kelly Vaughn.

Come join us for a PAW-ty! There will be canine games, stories and crafts. For families with children.

Vote for activities such as art projects, crafts, Reader's Theater, games, yoga, dance... You decide!

Let your mind unwind as you doodle away. Relax with the radio and discover where your drawings go. For Children Grades 2 and older.

Make a special seasonal craft to take home. September: kaleidoscope on a rope. October: Soap sculpture. November: Bottle cap collage.

Come on, come all to the Scaredy Cat Ball! Fun, games, stories, and treats. Costumes encouraged but not required.

Join us for the always fun game of BINGO! This time there will be a Thanksgiving Twist. For children of all ages.

Trump your opponents in a euchre battle for the ages. We'll teach newcomers the rules and nuances of the classic card game. We play the first Thursday night of each month from 5:30 to 8 PM.

Sign up at the branch or call 419-892-2576 for Euchre Night.

Explore the rich imagination of Mansfield born author Louis Bromfield, conservationist and creator of Malabar Farm, in The Bromfield Book Club.

Each month we’ll read one of Bromfield’s novels and meet at Malabar Farm State Park for the “Bromfield Book Club.” This club is designed for enthusiasts of Bromfield’s books, but also for those who haven’t read his work before. If you’re interested in Bromfield, farming, conservation, or local history, you’ll be amazed by what you learn in the club.
