Give the gift of reading this holiday season

The holiday season is rapidly approaching – lights are being strung, dinners and get – togethers are being planned, and lists are being made (things to do, people to see, and much more!) With all of that running around you’re going to be doing, why not let the Library give you some assistance?  Our Give the Gift of Reading Guide for 2011 highlights so many wonderful books for that special child or children in your life.  Or do you know an adult who loves children’s books?  This guide will be great for them as well!

Our guide is broken down into 2 major sections - Holiday Books and Great Books Make Great Gifts.  Holiday Books are just that – seasonal books for you to share and help you to celebrate this magical time of year.  The Great Books Make Great Gifts guide features a variety of picture books, chapter books, nonfiction, and other great titles ( pop – ups, classic books, comic style).  All of these books have been chosen by the Services for Children Staff @ M/RCPL and recommended based on our collective knowledge and expertise.

So take a look, find some great books, and be sure to recommend our guide to any parents, caregivers, friends, teachers, or anyone else you know who might find it useful!  We truly appreciate you, our customers, every day of the year – without you, there would be no M/RCPL.

Season’s greetings!
