Excel®-Beyond the Basics

This class is for those who are familiar with the basics of Microsoft Excel®. Extend your knowledge with new functions, advanced formatting with themes and using Excel-provided templates.

Job Search Skills

Shopping Online

Word®-the Basics

Learn how to navigate, format text, save, and retrieve a file. Students will learn to use the Cut, Copy and Paste commands to move text, and how to use the Help feature.

Word®-Beyond the Basics

Free & Open Source Software - an Introduction

Word® – Advanced

This advanced class is for you if you’ve taken the first two Microsoft Word classes and want to learn more. You will learn to use headers and footers, format paragraphs and pages, use page breaks with pages and columns, and add borders and shading.

Snapchat Saturday - Drop-In

Come to your Library to learn about Snapchat, a new messaging app you may have been hearing about. You can take a photo or video, and then broadcast it to the world or to just your followers.

 

Facebook Fridays - Drop-In

Come in and find out about Facebook. Create profiles, upload photos & videos, send messages, and keep in touch with family, friends, & colleagues. No sign up required.

 

Atomic Training - Drop-In

Atomic Training gives you access to thousands of short how-to videos on computers & devices, job skills, social media, and software. Stop in for assistance to create an account and start learning. Stay for a few minutes, or a few hours!

Schedule a One-on-One for help with your new e-reader. The computer Lab staff is happy to help get your new device up and running. Whether you want to purchase books from Barnes & Noble or Amazon, or download books from the library's collection we are here to help. Call and make an appointment for individual help.

For individual computer assistance learning the basics of the library catalog, electronic databases and the Internet in a one-on-one session, or increase your computer knowledge. This computer assistance is offered at all locations. Please call your local library to schedule your individual session; availability may be limited.
