Word® – the Basics

Learn how to navigate, format text, save, and retrieve a file. Students will use cut, copy, and paste to move text and learn how to use Help to find commands and accomplish tasks.

This class is for those learning to use a word processor. They will explore Word’s structure including the command Ribbon, the document area and the Status Bar. This advanced class is for you if you’ve taken the first two Microsoft Word® classes. Learn more advanced features of Word.

For individual computer assistance learning the basics of the library catalog, electronic databases and the Internet in a one-on-one session, or increase your computer knowledge.
