Overdue Fines, Renewing, Returning and Lost/Damaged Materials

Overdue Fines:

Books, Magazines, Audio Books, CD's and Audio Cassettes
20¢ per day per item
ILL items (Interlibrary Loan)
$1.00  per day per item
Video Cassettes and DVDs
$1.25 per day per item

Renewals:

Books and audio materials may be renewed in person at any Library location, thru our online catalog at catalog.mrcpl.org, or by phone. Call the Main Library at 521-3142, or phone any Branch location to renew these materials over the phone. Renewals are limited to three times per item.

Returning Materials:

All Library materials may be returned to any location, regardless of
where they were borrowed. Drop boxes are available at all locations.

Lost or Damaged Items:

Failure to return materials, pay for lost or damaged materials or
failure to settle fines will result in the loss of borrowing privileges. Be careful of you library card and who you allow to use it. You are liable for charges to your card, just like a credit card. Report its loss or theft immediately.
