Meet Miss Terry at Main Library!

"It’s hard to choose a favorite food, I love so many! But my favorite would probably be pasta with any kind of vegetable."

"The SLP topic I am most excited about is digging. There are so many ways to dig and so many things to dig for. I had the opportunity to dig for gems in North Carolina not long ago and it was really fun. I really like to dig in the dirt but mostly I like to dig into a good book!"

Miss Terry would like to recommend these SLP-themed books to Dig Into Reading!

Mud by Mary Lyn Ray

All winter long, it lays frozen, waiting. Waiting for one special night, when earth comes unfrozen. All of the wonderful smells, sounds and sights of spring release magnificent mud! Mud that has waited all winter long to be stirred, dug, squished and danced in. The magnificent mud that comes with spring.

This delightfully muddy story brings to mind many of the wonderful sensations associated with the coming of spring after a cold frozen winter.
