Explore the rich imagination of Mansfield born author Louis Bromfield, conservationist and creator of Malabar Farm in The Bromfield Book Club.
Every month we’ll read one of Bromfield’s novels and meet at Malabar Farm State Park for the “Bromfield Book Club.” Each session will include discussions of that month’s book, guest speakers, and tours of the estate and park grounds (including snacks and light refreshments). This club is designed for enthusiasts of Bromfield’s books, but also for those who haven’t read his work before.
If you’re interested in Bromfield, farming, conservation, or local history, you’ll be amazed by what you learn in the club. We’ll hold the book discussions in different rooms of the “Big House,” at the Visitor Center, the Pugh Cabin, and other areas of the estate. Get an intimate peak into the life of our most famous Mansfield resident.
