Summer Library Program 2016

June 8, 2016

It's not officially summer here at the library until the Summer Library Program (SLP) starts! This year, our theme is all about health and wellness, exercise and sports, and being active and staying fit. Join us at any of our locations to participate.

We welcome children up through 6th grade to complete weekly tic-tac-toe sheets where you choose which activities to do, earn scratch-and-sniff bookmarks, fill out tickets to enter the raffle for a Toys R Us gift card, and pick out a free book. We also have some awesome programs and performers to entertain the whole family. Check out each location's individual schedule (scroll down) to see what's happening.

Our mission is for your children to have FUN with the library this summer! We have changed things up a little bit, and instead of requiring only reading, we have included lots of other activities that give your children ways to create and explore. From listening to an audiobook to writing or drawing about their favorite animal, we're sure your kids will have fun, learn something new, and exercise their brains all summer long!
