Celebrate National Library Week

April 11, 2016

It's National Library Week, a time where you can celebrate all the great ways libraries improve and support individuals, families, and communities. We'd love to hear why YOU love the library, and what it means to your family.

Do you come to learn or study? To be entertained? To hear stories? To get books or movies? Whatever your reason for coming, we're glad to see you! We are happy to have you here to celebrate the contributions of our local libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support.

In honor of this week, we are pleased to host Eric Litwin (aka "Mr. Eric"), who wrote the first four Pete the Cat books, including the original Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes, Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes, Pete the Cat Saves Christmas, and Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons as well as The Nuts: Bedtime at the Nut House and The Nuts: Sing and Dance in Your Polka-Dot Pants. He'll be here to sing to and entertain us while sharing his storytelling talent. Join us on Tuesday, April 12th at 6 PM at the Main Library for this awesome event!

Happy Library Week!
