SLP is Over...What Now?

August 3, 2015

The Summer Library Program (SLP) has come and gone, once again. We had a blast at the SLP Splash at Marshall Park on Saturday with plenty of games and activities, crafts, visiting Superheroes, and water fun!

But don't worry, we've still got lots of awesome programs and other things for you to do in August before school starts. This coming Saturday, from 1-4 PM, join us for LEGO MANIA! We'll have bins of blocks out for you to build a masterpiece to put on display at the Main library.

Next week, we've got the Frozen Tea Party on Thursday, August 13th at 6 PM. There will be games, crafts, stories, and a sing-along. Fans old and young are encouraged to participate. We've also got a Super Why! program on Saturday, August 15th at 1 PM. Young children are invited to help the Super Readers solve all kinds of reading problems in fun and interesting ways!

There's still plenty of summer left, even though our SLP has finished up. Come on in to the library and see what new books, music, and movies we have to offer. Enjoy the new Pre-Teen area, play on the early literacy computer stations, or check out the babies in our fish tank. We'd love to see you!

Happy Summer!
