How To Get A Library Card
You Will Need:

1. Two pieces of Identification with your name - at least one with your current mailing address.
2. A Parent or Guardian if you are under the age of 18.
3. No Money - your first library card is free!

*Applications are available at the Circulation Desk of the Main Library, and at every Branch Library location.

*Lost cards cost $1 to replace. Report lost or stolen cards to the Library immediately; you are responsible for its use or misuse. This includes overdue fines, fees for lost or damaged materials and misuse of Internet privileges.

Overdue Fines:
Books, Magazines, Audio Books, CD's and Audio Cassettes
20¢ per day per item

Video Cassettes, DVDs and Programming kits
$1.25 per day per item

InterLibrary Loans
$1.00 per day per item

SearchOhio materials
50¢ per day, per item

Renewals:
Books and audio materials may be renewed in person at any Library location, thru our online catalog, or by phone. Call the Main Library at 419-521-3142, or phone any Branch location to renew these materials over the phone. Renewals are limited to two times per item. You will need your Library card to renew by any method; online renewal requires a PIN.

New DVDs (with 3 Day Loan sticker) may not be renewed, but all other videos (VHS tapes or DVDs) may be. Call 419-521-3142, or any Branch location for more information.

Returning Materials:
All M/RCPL Library materials may be returned to any location in the system, regardless of where they were borrowed. Drop boxes are available at all locations.

Failure to return materials, pay for lost or damaged materials or failure to settle fines will result in the loss of borrowing privileges.
