Put an item on hold

Do you want to make sure you’ll get to read a brand-new book, or just waiting for the CD you want to come back?  You can put an item on hold to make sure you get the chance to check it out!

If you’re not at the library, there are still a few ways to put a hold on an item: if the library’s open, you can call any M/RCPL location, and tell your favorite librarian the name of the item you want—and all you need is your library card number! If you’ve got access to the internet from home, all you have to do is go to M/RCPL’s online catalog , enter your library card and PIN number, then pick the location you want to pick up the item. If there are other holds on the item, we’ll tell you where you are on the list, and you’ll have your item in no time!
