Are you searching for a certain book, DVD, or CD that M/RCPL doesn’t have? Don’t give up too easily—with our InterLibrary Loan (or ILL) service, we’ll search libraries in the state of Ohio (and if we need to, the rest of the country,) to find the item you want! In order to request something through our ILL service, all you have to do is ask your favorite librarian!
There are a few things to remember, though: in order for us to ask another library to lend us something, the item you want to ILL needs to have been published or released for at least six months—that way, we know the people at the library lending us the book have gotten a chance to check it out! Our ILL service is pretty cool, right? In fact, it’s so cool, once you start it’s easy to get carried away! That’s why there’s an ILL limit—each person can only request three ILL items at a time (and don’t forget, the fines are higher if you return an ILL late…instead of .10 cents a day, it’s .50 cents a day!)
