Book Review
Inkheart

by Cornelia Funke
(Check Catalog)

Meggie loves to read. This is probably a good thing because her father is a bookbinder.  When a mysterious man, named Dustfinger, appears in the middle of the night, Meggie gets suspicious. The next morning, Meggie wakes up and finds that her dad is moving them to the south for awhile. Meggie and her father go to live with her Aunt Elinor, a fat, ornery, old book collector. When Meggie’s father gets kidnapped, Meggie’s world’s gets turned upside down.

I loved this book.  Inkheart was a great book because it combined an interesting plot with a fantastic ending. I recommend this as a read for people who enjoy lengthy books, because it is over 500 pages long!  Cornelia Funke has written some great books, but I think this is her best one yet.
