The Ultimate Audition Book for Teens:
111 One-Minute Monologues

by Janet B. Milstein
(Check Catalog)

There are hundreds upon thousands of books out there, on pretty much every topic you can think of. Believe me when I say that I completely understand how hard it is to find just the right one to read. So for all of you aspiring actors and actresses … this one will be just right.

If you know anything about the acting industry, you would know that you must always have a monologue on hand and ready to use at anytime. That’s why The Ultimate Audition Book For Teens, 111 One-Minute Monologues will be such a great help! It has dramatic and comedic monologues for both male and female. I’ve been using it for quite a while and have found it to be incredibly useful. The important thing to make sure of is, no matter which monologue you choose, make it your own, don’t just read the words off the page; but really feel them. I hope this book is as beneficial to you as it has been for me.

Happenings In Richland County
Mansfield’s 200th Anniversary
1808-2008

Mansfield, Ohio is celebrating its 200th birthday this year! The festivities will begin on Wednesday, June 11th, and will run straight through Friday, July 4th.  All month we will have things for the entire family to enjoy! We start this month long celebration with a huge birthday party (being held at South Park) on the 11th of June. Bring the whole family; there is plenty of cake to go around! Then that weekend (also at South Park) jump into the Colonial Reenactment, where you will be surrounded by actors in period dress. Saturday, June 14th is full of fun. Start the day out by going to see the “1775” Flags displayed across from the Richland Courthouse, where the 13 original revolutionary and battle flags will be displayed. That night the Miss Ohio 5k run will take place at Lahm Airport.
This is just a small glimpse of what Mansfield has going on this summer.

“How do you find out more?” I’ll tell you the same thing Doug Versaw (Committee Chairman) told me. “It’s really quite easy, all you have to do is go to www.mansfieldohio2008.com
