Summer Library Program:
This
annual eight-week program encourages teens to continue reading
throughout the summer, using both incentives and programs.
Watch for promotional information at the beginning of June.
Teen Advisory Board (TAB):
TAB
is a group of nine teens, who meet during the school year
(September-May) twice a month at the Main Library with the
Young Adult Librarian. The primary purposes of this board
are to give advice and provide information on what teens
want in the way of books, magazines, music, videos, and
programs, and to get teens involved in reading and libraries.
Members plan programs, suggest books for purchase, and put
out the TAB Newsletter. Applications are available at the
beginning of September for the current school year.
