Jamie
Bio
Hi everybody! My name is Jamie and whether you like it or not, you are stuck with me as a Teen Advisory Board member for the year. I enjoy reading teen drama and fantasy stories and every once in a while, I’ll read historical fiction. I go to school at St. Peter’s Junior High School where I participate in volleyball, Mathcounts, and Academic Challenge. My favorite subjects are history and gym. Outside of school, I act, sing, jump, shop, and flirt just like any other girl, but my friends tell me I am not normal. What do you think?
Book Review
Eragon
by Christopher Paolini
(Check Catalog)
Fantasy lovers get ready to be blown away! Eragon is a must read for all fantasy and abnormal book lovers! Here are some reasons why. Eragon is a simple farm boy who lives in a small town surrounded by mystical mountains. He lives with his uncle, Garrow, and cousin, Roran. Eragon’s life is sent into chaos and mystery when he finds a large blue stone, which he soon finds out is a dragon. Eragon and friends flee and search the world of Alaglasia for answers. In this thrilling book, there is action, horror, adventure, and even a speck or two of romance. A good read for young and old alike and two thumbs up from me.
