What are Graphic Novels?

Fax From Sarajevo tells the story of Edwin and his family's efforts
to escape Sarajevo, and the repeated disappointments they receive
as all other counties refuse to accept refugees from the war-torn
area.
This
is the story of a young girl, Akiko, who is transported to the
Planet Smoo. In her adventures, she battles Sky Pirates, duels
with arch-villainess Alia Rellapor (who hides a mysterious secret),
and meets a prince whom she occasionally rescues.
