Elizabeth
Bio

Hello, I am Elizabeth.  I’m fourteen and a freshman at Plymouth High School.  I’ve been to Australia, and I am a Girl Scout going for my silver award.  I plan to go to OSU for my undergrad work as a journalist then to Harvard or some other big school to get a law degree.  I love to read and write and cannot wait for the next Harry Potter book to come out.  I don’t do any sports, but I’m thinking about doing golf next year.

Book Review
Blue Bloods
by Melissa de la Cruz
(Check Catalog)

Meet Schuyler and the rest of the gang at Duchesne, her prestigious private school in the heart of New York City.  She and her friends are normal human beings, or so they think.  But then Schuyler finds herself on a whole new journey through the land of vampires, where her kind, the blue bloods, may not be the top of the food chain.  With the help of her friends, Schuyler will try to save her new friends and everyone like her from a force even their elders couldn’t predict.

Musings about:
Wishes

When you wish upon a star, your dreams can come true, unless it’s really a meteorite hurtling to the Earth which will destroy all life.  Then you’re pretty much hosed no matter what you wish for, unless it’s death by meteor.

Destiny
You were meant for me, perhaps as a punishment.  (This is something all spouses think at some point.)

Compromise
Let’s agree to respect each other’s views, no matter how wrong your view may be.
Procrastination
The early worm is for the birds.

Beauty
If you’re attractive enough on the outside, people will forgive you for being irritating to the core.

Worth
Just because you’re necessary doesn’t mean you’re important.

Inspiration
Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration, which is why engineers sometimes smell really bad.

Effort
Hard work never killed anybody--but it is illegal in some places.

Pressure
It can turn a lump of coal into a flawless diamond or an average person into a perfect basket case.

Madness
Madness does not always howl.  Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, “Hey, is there room in your head for one more?”

Quality
The race for quality has no finish line; so technically, it’s more like a death march.

Sacrifice
All we ask here is that you give us your heart.
