Pride and Prejudice
(Check Catalog)
by Jane Austen
Close
your eyes for a moment and transpose yourself back through time
to an era when women were admired for their pretty faces and meek
dispositions alone. Those who were over-opinionated were despised
and yet, Elizabeth Bennet, the heroine in the book "Pride
and Prejudice" by Jane Austen, rose above her stereotypic
expectations to reveal her true character. She was castigated
by many but ultimately, will she be a success? A success in winning
the heart of the one she loves despite his prejudice towards her
family? Find out!

Book Review
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
(Check Catalog)
by Roald Dahl
This
is a book review on my all-time favorite book, "Charlie and
the Chocolate Factory." It is about a little boy named Charlie
Bucket. He lives with his mom, dad, Grandpa Joe, Grandma Josephine,
Grandpa George, and Grandma Georgina. Charlie is very poor. He
doesn't get much either.
Willy Wonka, the greatest chocolate maker in the world, is finally
opening his factory doors to the public. But only five children
can go in. they have to find a golden tickey in any one of Wonka's
chocolate bars in any candy shop in the world. Charlie doesn't
think it is possible for him to win.
Four of the tickets are found, and Charlie loses all hope. But
Charlie miraculously finds a ticket when he buys a bar with a
nickel he finds on the road. He is astounded and takes it home
to his mother. He and his Grandpa Joe go to the factory and find
a load of surprises.
At the end, something really special happens to Charlie. If you
want to know the ending, read this great book by Roald Dahl.
