The Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood

The fourth, and last, installment of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series is finally here! While I’m really sad that this is the very last one, I’m excited because it ended in a very good way. The fourth book was probably the best in the series, and I just could not put it down! Forever in Blue follows the four girls of the Sisterhood, Lena, Carmen, Bridget, and Tibby, through yet another unforgettable summer apart. Lena stays at school, and paints, and finds an interesting new subject. Carmen isn’t herself and has a struggle with a so-called “friend” and a theatrical role. Bridget’s wild ways lead her to Turkey, where temptations are around every corner, and Tibby mistakenly believes that everyone will stay exactly where she put them. The girls have been apart before, but will the pants be able to keep them together this summer?

Continuum

I’m a huge fan of John Mayer. I love his bluesy style and great lyrics, and I just find him to be a great song writer, as well as, a great guitarist. Although I wasn’t a huge fan of his second album, Heavier Things, his third album, Continuum, has totally regained my faith in him. Every single song on the album is worth listening to over and over and over again. The songs have true John Mayer style, with killer lyrics that hit close to home. Although my personal favorites are, “Waiting on the World to Change,” and “The Heart of Life,” I recommend going out and buying this amazing album in order to listen to every song.
