Are your kids getting enough sleep?

Did you know that the children ranging from 5 to 12 years old need ten  hours of sleep each night?  While teens require at least 8 ½  to 9 ¼ hours?

Children who do not get adequate sleep can seem irritable and frustrated, have difficulty with school work, become aggressive and impulsive, and show signs of depression and anxiety.

So, are your kids getting enough sleep?  Sometimes even the most careful parents overlook the importance of rest in their children’s routines.

Our children have so many things to fit into a day; school, friends, homework, sports, music lessons, chores around the house, and so much more!

A National Sleep Foundation (NSF) survey reported that 60% of children under the age of 18 complained of being tired during the day while 15% admitted to sleeping at school.

Check out these websites for tips in helping your child get a good night’s sleep!!
