- PIN Number
Library Catalog users should remember that they must have a PIN number
in order to view your library card information, place holds or renew
items yourself. If you do not have a PIN number, you may obtain one
in person or by calling any of our locations. click
here for listing) To obtain or retrieve your PIN number in person you must have your library card. To obtain or retrieve you PIN number over the phone you must have your library card number. Once logged into your account choose the Profile
link to update your e-mail address.
- E-Mail Notification
You can now receive notification of reserves and overdue
items via e-mail. Use theMy
Account link
to login to your account and update your e-mail address.
- Viewing My Account
Your user account (called "My Account") is a collection
of information specific to you. It includes your user profile, items
you have currently checked out, the status of any holds you have placed
or hold requests that are pending, fines or other blocks to your library
account, and any saved lists. To keep your information private, your
user account can only be accessed by you and the library.
- iPAC My Account Information iPac displays the My Account options in the colored section of the
tabset and the Account Overview page. Both the My Account options
and the Account Overview page provide these hyperlinks to information
specific to your user account:Checked Out. This hyperlink lets you view a
list of library items you have currently checked out. It also provides
the option to renew checked out items before they are due.Holds. This hyperlink lets you view the status
of items for which you have requested a hold, activate or suspend
a hold request, or cancel a hold request.Hold History. This hyperlink lets you display
all the hold requests you have placed within the last year.Fines/Blocks. This hyperlink lets you view
any fines, fees, charges, messages, or other information that might
block your borrowing privileges.Q&A. This hyperlink lets you view answers
to frequently-asked library questions. Profile. This hyperlink lets you view or change
information in your user profile. Your user profile is a record of
contact information such as your name, home address, home telephone
number, and e-mail address (optional); and iPac-specific information
such as your Personal Identification Number (PIN) and your iPac user
preferences. This information is kept confidential by the library
and is only accessible with your PIN.
